The brickwork ambience of this Kreuzberg brewery offers a unique atmosphere and seating for up to 180 people.  There is room for 60 on the terrace facing the street, and the beer garden in Volkspark Hasenheide has 140 sunny spots far away from any street noise.

The brewery’s premises are ideal for private and business functions and offer plenty of room for tour groups.

After the shutdown of both the Schultheiss Brewery years ago and the Berliner Kindl Brewery on Rollbergstrasse at the beginning of 2006, the "Brauhaus Südstern" is now the only brewery in Kreuzberg and around Hermannplatz.

Our Master Brewer brews following a traditional, gentle brewing process.  This is how we offer fresh, unfiltered and cask-conditioned beers that retain all of their vitamins, minerals, active yeast, and other vital substances.
